Upper Limbs
Percutaneous procedures
Joint infiltration
Pain block
Prolotherapy
Barbotage (Calcareous Tendinitis)
The above procedures can be performed in other locations such as the elbow (Ex. Epicondylitis), wrist (Ex. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and hand (Ex. De Quervain).
Infiltrations are guided by ultrasound in most cases to increase the precision and effectiveness of the treatment.
Lower Limbs
Percutaneous procedures
Joint infiltration
Joint effusion aspiration
Pain block
Prolotherapy
Genicular Ablation/Rhizotomy
Some of the procedures above can be performed in other locations such as the spine, hip, ankle and foot.
Vascular procedures
Inflammatory MSK embolization
Alternative treatment for pain of musculoskeletal origin, for example:
resulting from osteoarthritis
sports injuries (e.g. patellar tendinopathy)
plantar fasciitis
Diseases with progressive characteristics must be carefully evaluated as in these cases the treatment results tend to be shorter (temporary).
